Ulan-Ude.Weekend tour.

Day 1. Departure to Ulan-Ude

Meeting at the railway station of Irkutsk. Night train to the capital of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude.

Day 2. City tour, visit to the village of Old Believers.

Early morning arrival in Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia. After breakfast, we will have a very busy day, full of impressions. In the program: a visit to the Ivolginsky datsan, we will be able to get acquainted with the Buddhist culture and religion of this Baikal region. After a lunch of traditional Buryat dishes in a cafe, we go to the village of the Old Believers (a group of Orthodox Christians who went into exile in Siberia because of their rejection of the reforms of the Russian Church in the 17th century, remains today, they lead a closed lifestyle, away from modern society, preserving their traditions). There we will visit an ancient Orthodox church, see old wooden houses, beautiful traditional costumes, and in the evening we will have a hearty and delicious dinner. In the evening, return to Ulan-Ude, overnight at the hotel.

Day 3. Visit to the Buryat Yurt.

After breakfast, we will go to the village..., where we will get acquainted with the traditions and life of the Buryats, see their yurts, try Buryat cuisine. We are waiting for a master class in modeling buuz and archery. Return to Ulan-Ude, board the train, and arrive in Irkutsk in the evening. We offer you to get to Irkutsk by train, as it is convenient and interesting. You will enjoy stunning views from the window, as most of the way passes along the shore of Lake Baikal.
