Excursion on the Circum-Baikal Railway

PROGRAM
Travel information, watching movies about Baikal, about nature, flora and fauna of our Siberean region. On the way there are several stops from hour to hour and a half with little hiking tours, during which tourists will learn about history of construction of the grandiose project: Circum-Baikal Railway. Here there will also be time for individual walks and making photos against the backdrop of Lake Baikal.

MEALS

Please note that providing meals is an additional service that is not provided in each wagon of the train, ask managers.
Receiving of requests on meals stops 3 days before departure.

Tourists can take food beforehand and eat on their own.

Departure from Irkutsk-Passazhirsky railway station.

10:15 - 10:45

Slyudyanka.

From Irkutsk to Slyudyanka, the train runs in an easterly direction without stopping (except for a minute stop at the Goncharovo station (the city of Shelekhov). In Slyudyanka, parking is 30-40 minutes. You can get out of the car and admire the station building - it is the only station in the world, completely built of white and pink marble.

Then the train departs from Slyudyanka in the western direction to the Circum-Baikal Railway, with sightseeing stops.

16:30-16:40

Port of Baikal.

In the port of Baikal, there is a landing on ships, then a ferry to Listvyanka.

In Listvyanka, board the buses and return to Irkutsk.

While waiting for a water crossing in the port of Baikal, you can visit the museum of the history of the construction of the the Circum-Baikal Railway in the station building (entrance to the museum is free), drink coffee in the buffet, walk around the picturesque area, take a picture against the background of an old steam locomotive.

18:00 - 19:00

Arrival in Irkutsk.

Reverse route (May, June: every Monday of the month.

July, August: every Friday and Monday of the month.)

In Irkutsk, boarding buses from the Drama theater named after Okhlopkov (the exact time is indicated in the ticket, travel to Listvyanka).

Listvyanka.

In Listvyanka, boarding ships, crossing the source of the Angara River to the port of Baikal.

10:25

Port of Baikal.

Along the way, sightseeing stops in interesting places of the Circum-Baikal Railway.

Upon arrival at the port of Baikal, you can visit the Circum-Baikal Railway museum in the station building, drink coffee in the buffet, walk around the picturesque area, take a picture against the background of an old steam locomotive.

Boarding the train starts half an hour before its departure.

17:35 - 18:06

Slyudyanka.

Arrival in Slyudyanka. Stop for 30-40 minutes. Then take the same train to Irkutsk.

Irkutsk.

Arrival in Irkutsk.

The cost of the tour:

- Adult –75 usd (May-June), 80 usd (July - September).

- Children under 12 years old – 46 usd (May-June), 42 usd (July - September).

- Children under 5 years old, if they do not take up space – 5 usd.

- Non-resident of the Russian Federation – 90 usd (May - June), 95 (July - September).

At 10: 30 departure by Circum-Baikal Railway from the station Slyudyanka. On the way

Port of Baikal.

In the port of Baikal, there is a landing on ships, then a ferry to Listvyanka.

Listvyanka.

Arrival in Listvyanka. The water crossing of each group takes about 20 minutes.

Irkutsk.

Arrival of the bus to Irkutsk at the railway station.

Listvyanka.

Departure from the Slingshot pier in the village of Listvyanka. The crossing takes about 20 minutes for each group.

Port of Baikal.

Departure from Baikal station. On the way, there are 4-5 stops lasting from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Irkutsk.

Arrival in Irkutsk at the railway station of the station Irkutsk-Passa.zhirsky.
